Historic Beetle Display
From a small beginning in 1990, the Historic Beetle Display at Stanford Hall has become an important event in the early VW calendar. Initially open only to split-window Beetles and Kubelwagens, the 1993 meeting was extended to include all oval window models (those built before August 1957).
1994 saw the Historic Beetle Display moving to the International Vintage Volkswagen meeting, held every two years in Kent, 1995 saw it's return to Stanford Hall.
The 2008 display will again be open to owners of pre-August 1957 Beetles and entry to the show will again be free for the driver and all occupants of any car in the display. The only two conditions to free entry are that you park with the rest of the display and you must book in advance using the enclosed booking form. We regret that those who do not pre-book and obtain a display pass will have to pay the normal entry fee on the day. Don't worry if your car isn't in pristine condition, we'd like to see "daily drivers" and restoration projects as well as Concours examples.
Those of you planning to enter the Concours can still join the display, your car can be judged in the display area if you prefer. As in previous years, however, you must also book your place in the Concours in advance (see separate information sheet and booking form)
To register your car for the display, please click here , print the page off (Adobe Acrobat required), complete the form and send to: Keith Vipond, 201 Wolverhampton Road, Pelsall, Walsall, West Midlands, WS3 4AW
Please ensure that you display your entry pass in your windscreen and enter by the correct gate.
Failure to display your pass in your windscreen will result in you being charged the normal entry fee.
