Concours D'Elegance
This years Concours d'Elegance will follow a successful formula from previous years with very similar classes to last year. The usual Stanford Hall rules apply to all the classes, i.e., all vehicles must have been registered at least three years or have covered a minimum of 20,000 miles . Owners of vehicles who do not meet these criteria may still enter, but on a display basis only.

Class 5 (1302/1303 Super Beetles) has been poorly supported over the last few years and will once again be included in to Class 3. If there is sufficient interest however the class can be reinstated.

The Super Class will, as always, be open to last year's Volkswagen Group Class winners (Classes 1-16).

The Concours D'Elegance is for unmodified vehicles and owners of Custom cars will be discouraged from entering. As in previous years, all classes will be strictly limited to ten vehicles, so pre-booking is strongly recommended and is becoming increasingly essential if disappointment is to be avoided on the day. A further advantage of pre-booking is that all pre-booked cars, and their occupants will be provided with a free entry swinger to the show. It is however important that you only complete the entry form if you are sure of attending the event, as non-attendance spoils the continuity in the layout of the Concours area and may prevent other enthusiasts from attaining a place.

Stanford Hall, in common with most other vehicle events penalises vehicles which are trailered to the event and do not show a current road fund licence and MOT.

The event is a member of the loose association of VW Classic Concours Shows which was introduced in an attempt to standardise judging sheets and judging. Entries on the day cannot be guaranteed and are only accepted at the discretion of the Concours Manager, if space permits. All entrants are to be in place and ready to be judged by 10.30am . For this year, as in recent years, there will be a special entry gate, shown on the map which will be sent to entrants with the booking confirmation. This gate will give an excellent entry and exit and minimise queues. Nonetheless all entrants should still ensure they are in position, ready for judging by 10.30am . They must be prepared to leave their vehicles in the Concours Area until after the awards have been presented at approximately 4.00pm. Failure to comply with this rule will result in disqualification. The organisers feel strongly about this clause and would point out that they are almost unique in offering this free entry and, as such, ask participants to leave their vehicles in place for the paying public's viewing pleasure.

To enter, please print off a copy of the entry form, and return to the concours manager

PLEASE DO NOT ENTER UNLESS YOU ARE ABLE TO REMAIN IN THE CONCOURS AREA FROM 10.30AM UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 4.00PM.
