Camping
It should be noted that:
• Saturday night 'on site' camping will only be available for pre-booked visitors.
• Only basic toilet and wash facilities will be available (no showers or electrical hook-ups etc).
• Entry to the site will only be possible from 1.00 pm until 8.00 pm on Saturday 2rd May via the rear North Kilworth gate (a map will be provided with entry pass) and
• Departure must be made by 7.30 pm on show day, Sunday 3rd May.
Vehicle access to the showground is strictly forbidden to all campers and visitors until the gates are opened to the public on Sunday morning at 8.00am. Vehicle movement after 9.00pm on Saturday evening is also strictly forbidden.
It should be noted that camping is organised by Stanford Hall as such your contract and contact is with Stanford Hall and not the show organisers "The Leicestershire and Warwickshire Volkswagen Owners Club". All campers stay on site at their own risk, first aid support will only be provided on the Sunday of the show. Gates will be locked from 9.00 pm until 7.00 am on Sunday 3rd. An emergency telephone number will be provided on confirmation of booking with your entry pass.
No vehicle movements are permitted on site other than to and from entry gate. Those camping who are taking part in Displays, Concours etc. will be allowed to move their vehicles to the appropriate area from 8.00 am on Sunday, 3rd. Campers must leave a gap of approximately 3 metres between each unit and camp in a responsible manner with a minimum of noise so as not to disturb their fellow campers.
VISITORS WISHING TO CAMP MUST ONLY DO SO IF THEY ARE PREPARED TO COMPLY WITH THESE BASIC CONDITIONS.
The cost of camping is £6.00 per adult and £2.00 for children between the age of 4 and 14, however, show entry must be paid for when purchasing your camping passes, this being £7.00 per adult and £1.00 per child. This equates to an inclusive price of £13.00 per adult and £3.00 per child.
