Camping

Following the popular inclusion of camping for the last two we are pleased to offer the same facilities again. This will only be open to pre-booked visitors. It should be noted that only basic toilet facilities will be available. (No showers or electrical hook ups etc).

Entry to the site will only be possible from 1.00pm until 8.00pm on Saturday 1st May via the rear South Kilworth gate (a map will be provided with your entry pass) and departure must be made by 7.30pm on Show Day, Sunday 2nd May. Vehicle access to the show ground is strictly forbidden to all campers and visitors until the show ground gates are opened to the public at 8.00am Sunday 2nd May. Vehicle movement on site is forbidden after 9.00pm on Saturday evening.

It should be noted that camping is organised by Stanford Hall and your contract and contacts is with Stanford Hall and not show organisers “the Leicestershire & Warwickshire Volkswagen Owners Club”. All campers stay on site at their own risk, first aid support will only be provided on show day, although an emergency telephone number will be available on arrival. Gates will be locked from 9.00pm until 7.00am on Sunday 2nd May. No vehicle movements are permitted on site other than to and from entry gate. Those who are taking part in the displays, concours etc. will be allowed to move their vehicles to the appropriate area from 8.00am on Sunday, 2nd. Campers must stay inside the allocated pitches provided.

VISITORS WISHING TO CAMP MUST ONLY DO SO IF THEY ARE PREPARED TO COMPLY WITH THESE BASIC CONDITIONS.

The cost of camping is £6.00 per adult and £2.00 for children between the age of 4 and 14, however, show entry must be paid when purchasing your camping pass, this being £7.00 per adult and £1.00 per child. This equates to an inclusive price of £13.00 per adult and £3.00 per child. Payment should be made by cheque when submitting your booking form. Click here for a downloadable booking form.

Cheques should be made payable to “Stanford Hall” and forwarded to Stanford Hall VW, The Estate Office, Stanford Hall, Stanford on Avon, near Lutterworth, Leicestershire, LE17 6DH.

NO APPLICATIONS FOR CAMPING WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 24TH APRIL 2010.
